Company Strength
Consistently High Ratings. Independent rating organizations, including
Standard &
Poor's, Fitch, A.M.
Best and Fitch,
need to have assigned the insurance company ratings measuring their financial
strength or claims-paying ability based upon a variety of factors. These
factors include overall operating performance, asset quality, financial
flexibility, and capitalization. Our current proprietary rating goals
utilize three of the strongest independent rating agencies - AM Best,
Standard & Poor's and Fitch.
Overall Profitability &
Dedication to Continued Growth
Profit is not only a measure of how well companies serve our customers,
but the result of their commitment to quality, serving people, and growth.
Our uncompromising goal is to select companies that tend to remain an
industry leader in terms of long range earnings growth and return on equity.
In other words, they will be here when our customers need them.
Prudent Investing &
Judicious Management
Over the years, insurance companies selected need to have deliberately
avoided wide and frequent fluctuations in credited interest rates on its
policies through the use of a portfolio rate crediting strategy and exceptional
investment management. This has resulted in a more stable value for policyholders.
Companies need to have a history
of maintaining initially projected cost of insurance rates on existing
policies. Although not a guarantee of future performance, companies can
attribute this accomplishment to uncompromising underwriting standards.
Policyholders need to know that insurance companies will do everything
they can to preserve the integrity of their business.
